Cuba regrets human losses in fire in Vietnam

The causes of the fire are being investigated

 

Havana, Sept 14 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, regretted this Thursday the loss of human life as a result of a fire in a building in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam.

Through his X profile, the minister expressed his solidarity and condolences to the people and government of Vietnam.

According to local media, at least 56 people died in the fire that occurred in a 10-story building where around 150 people lived.

The event was reported around midnight this Wednesday in a parking lot located in the basement of the site. The causes are currently being investigated, and the owner of the site was detained to investigate whether there was a breach of safety regulations. (Source: ACN)
