Havana, October 13 (RHC)-- The VII National Meeting of Cuban Residents in Argentina will be held in Buenos Aires on Oct. 29, organizers announced today.

According to the association that groups them, the meeting will begin at 10:00, local time, at the Casa de la Amistad Argentino-Cubana, in the Rio de la Plata city, and will have as its motto 'For the love of our homeland'.

Last September 17, the Union of Cuban Residents in Argentina (URCA) commemorated 18 years of its creation and advocated the strengthening of the organization and the ties between both peoples.

On multiple occasions, URCA reiterated its support for the largest island of the Antilles and demanded an end to U.S. aggressions such as the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed more than six decades ago.

Recently, it condemned a terrorist attack on the Cuban embassy in Washington. He demanded the government of Joseph Biden not to let such an act go unpunished and to guarantee the physical integrity of the diplomatic personnel. (Source: Prensa Latina)
