Havana, February 4 (RHC) --The Martiana Association of Cuban Residents in Panama (Amcrp) is holding its 12th National Meeting today with a focus on condemning the U.S. blockade against the island.

According to the president of the Amcrp, Humberto Perez, the meeting will approve a Final Declaration that also points to the initiatives of this group to break the siege imposed more than six decades ago and continue collaborating with the development of the Antillean nation.

The battle for the exclusion of Cuba from the Washington-sponsored spurious list of countries sponsoring terrorism and the return of the territory illegally occupied by the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay are other objectives to be outlined in this exchange, it was reported.

Perez also indicated that, as they have manifested in recent years, the Cuban diaspora in the isthmus will increase activism in social networks and other scenarios to repudiate the attempts of the White House and its lackeys to subvert the political and constitutional order in their homeland.

Another focus of the XII National Meeting of the Amcrp, which will also include cultural activities, will be to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among its members and family members.
