Havana, February 6 (Web Network)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel thanked his Mexican counterpart, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) on Tuesday for his condemnation of the U.S. blockade against the Caribbean nation.

In his profile on the social network X, the Cuban head of state wrote:

Few in the world understand the objective and impact of the #GenocidalBlockade against #Cuba, as Andrés Manuel @lopezobrador_ , whose management in favor of all the peoples of Our America is only comparable to his impressive work of transformation of #Mexico.

In his morning conference today, AMLO stated that if Washington continues to hinder Cuba's development with a genocidal economic, commercial and financial blockade that began more than 60 years ago, migration to the northern neighbor will continue.

"By what right do you blockade a country", asked the Mexican president, and assured that it is a violation, not only of international law, but also of human rights. (Source: @DiazCanelB)
