President of World Triathlon will visit Cuba
Havana, February 12 (RHC) The president of World Triathlon, Marisol Casado, will visit Cuba from February 22 to 25, according to the digital media Jit.
The information site of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder), said that the member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) since 2010 will be present at the 8th Havana Triathlon, which will take place in Havana on the 25th.
Fifty athletes are confirmed for this event (23 of them women), from Poland, Slovakia, Japan, Canada, Turkey, Togo, Argentina, Ireland, Ukraine, United States, Germany, Mexico and Cuba. In the elite event, Leslie Amat, Niuska Figueredo, Isabel Rodríguez, Alejandro Rodríguez, Jorge Emmanuel Alemañez and Marcos Fernández will compete for the largest of the Antilles.
