Havana, April 11 (RHC)--  The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel welcomed Grenada's Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, who arrived on Thursday on an official visit to the island until Sunday, April 14th.

In his account on the social network X, the dignitary wrote: "We hope he feels in our homeland as we feel in that brotherly country, with which we are celebrating 45 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations."

Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Josefina Vidal received Mitchell at Havana's José Martí International Airport.
The Grenadian Government Information Service (GIS) announced that the president's agenda in the largest Caribbean island includes meetings with the Cuban head of state and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.

Both parties will analyze the progress of bilateral agreements and are expected to sign nine memorandums of understanding related to agriculture and fisheries, climate change resilience, infrastructure development, culture and creative cooperation, tourism and sports.

GIS added that, likewise, Saint George's and Havana will seal updated agreements on health and education. (Source: Prensa Latina)
