Sábado del Libro literary space presents Ciro Bianchi’s book on little known tales of Havana
Havana, May 3 (RHC) The book «La Habana de Hemingway y otras historias» by the Cuban author Ciro Bianchi is the main topic of discussion in the Sábado del Libro, a regular space in the city's literary scene.
The book comprises 30 chronicles that were originally published in the Juventud Rebelde newspaper.
These tales are little known, intriguing, and unconventional, according to the author at the launch event held at the Havana International Book Fair in February.
The book features accounts of renowned individuals like Ernest Hemingway and Yarini.
As the journalist disclosed, the origins of these stories often lie in the personal experiences of those who lived them, but they tend to be embellished.
He also commented that he always seeks to incorporate the name of Havana into the titles of his creations.
Indeed, the city of Havana serves as the unifying thread that ties together these narratives featuring prominent figures, including athletes, artists, politicians, and even members of organized crime. (Source: Prensa Latina)
