Cuba announces 41st edition of the Havana International Fair

Havana, June 5 (RHC) The Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Oscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga, announced on Wednesday that the 41st edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2025) will take place from November 24 to 29 at the Expocuba exhibition center.

The event, which is regarded as the island’s main platform for promoting business and trade in the region, will bring together entrepreneurs, government representatives, and chambers of commerce from around the globe.

At a press conference, Pérez-Oliva explained that the event has been rescheduled for the final week of November as a precautionary measure to mitigate the potential impact of adverse weather conditions.

This decision was made in light of the challenges faced last year, when Hurricane Rafael forced the fair to close just 48 hours after it had opened.

As a sign of support for exhibitors who were impacted in 2024, the organizing committee will provide a 30% reduction in registration fees for those companies that choose to re-register for FIHAV 2025.

This advantage, which is only available for the next edition, aims to mitigate the financial impact of the cancellation of the event last year.

Furthermore, the cost of exhibiting space will remain the same, acknowledging the challenging economic situation in the country.

Twenty-one countries have already confirmed their participation in this edition, whose program will feature the 8th Investment Forum, a showcase of the updated Portfolio of Opportunities with foreign investment, business meetings, product launches, and sector-specific conferences.

Additionally, National Days will be observed in honor of the participating nations.

FIHAV 2025 will continue to serve as a crucial platform for the revitalization of the Cuban economy, in accordance with the government's initiatives to attract investments and foster the nation's progress. (Source: Cubadebate)
