Cuba and United Arab Emirates Look at Closer Trade Relations

Abu Dhabi, October 23 (RHC)-- Cuban representatives and entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirate held a business forum in Dubai to Exchange views and information on possible joint investment projects.

The forum, which was presided over by Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment minister Rodrigo Malmierca, corroborated the bilateral willingness to strengthen relations and diversify economic and trade links.

The Cuban delegation, headed by the Foreign Trade Minister, briefed their Arab counterparts on the opportunities for investment in Cuba in the sectors of tourism, energy, mining, biotechnology and particularly at the Special Development Zone at western Mariel Harbor.
