Pupy y los que Son Son

Havana, June 29 (RHC)-- Cuba’s record and musical editions Company EGREM has just released an extended play record or EP of the album 'Re-Percusión' by popular dance group ‘Pupy y los que son son.’

The EP includes four tracks: "Yo soy así”, "Deja la magia", "La fiera", and "En honor al valor".

Founded in 2001, Pupy y Los que Son, Son is the band of Cuban musician Cesar "Pupy" Pedroso.

A founding member of Los Van Van, Pedroso wrote some of Van Van's most iconic songs such as "Calla Calla", "Tranquilo, Mota", "Seis Semanas", "El buenagente" and many others.

In 2001, Cesar Pedroso founded his own band ‘Pupy y Los que Son, Son’, with which he has traveled extensively around the world, delighting their audiences with their music -- a fusion of son with Cuban timba.”

'Re-Percusión' is the eighth album by ‘Pupy y Los que Son, Son’, and the group’s fifth under EGREM label. The popular dance ensemble is this year celebrating 50 years of artistic life of its leader César ‘Pupy’ Pedroso.
