Havana, February 18 (RHC) The presence of Lazaro Alvarez raised to three the number of Domadores de Cuba members included in the World Boxing Council (WBC) ranking.

The three-time world champion and three-time Olympic bronze medalist was ranked 24th in the lightweight division, as part of the lists of an organization that previously opened lines to his teammates Julio Cesar La Cruz and Arlen Lopez.

His insertion rewards four consecutive victories as a professional, the last one on January 27 of this year by technical knockout in four rounds at the expense of Mexican Sergio Puente.

The Cuban Boxing Federation (FCB) informed that La Cruz and Arlen improved one place each: the former from 20th to 19th in the cruiserweight category and his partner from 27th to 26th in the light heavyweight category.

Both won the two bouts they faced in those circuits, where the Cuban franchise has 16 wins and only one loss.
