Cuba attends Italy’s main International tourism show

Rimini, October 11 (RHC)-- Cuba is participating in the 56th edition of TTG Travel Experience --Italy’s main International tourism show and the largest marketplace for Italy’s tourism offer worldwide.

Cuba has a stand at the fair to promote the offers of several hotel chains, among them Cubanacán, Islazul, Gran Caribe, Sol Meliá, Iberostar, Blue Diamond and Muthu. Cubana airlines is also present at the Italian travel trade show, as well as Cuba’s travel agency Havanatur and tour operators, operating on the island.

The Cuban delegation is specially promoting activities on the 500th anniversary of the Cuban capital –Havana—to be marked November 16th.

Cuba’s participation in TTG Travel Experience also serves to encourage foreign participation in the 40th edition of the International Tourism Fair FitCuba 2020. Set for May 4th through the 9th, next year, in Cuba’s famous Varadero beach resort, FitCuba 2020 will be dedicated to sun and sand tourism, and to Russia as guest country of honor.

In Rimini, the Cuban delegation has also called for the 1st Tourism and Health International Fair, set for October 2020 at Havana’s La Pradera International Health Center.

The 56th edition of TTG Travel Experience is being attended by nearly 3000 exhibitors, representing more than 130 tourist destinations.
