New York, September 23 (RHC-teleSUR)--A mural with the image of the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was inaugurated Thursday in the South Bronx in New York, as world leaders met in the city for the United Nations General Assembly.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez inaugurated the mural along with members of the community, artists and activists from the U.S. and Latin America.
Rodriguez was also accompanied by members of the African American community in the Bronx.
The mural of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution was painted by a young artist from the Bronx named Andre Trenier, who had met Chavez previously.
