New York, September 21 (RHC)-- Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and dozens of other groups are urging the U.S. Senate to reject the nomination of Marshall Billingslea for a top State Department post overseeing U.S. human rights policy.

Marshall Billingslea openly supported the use of torture and harsh interrogation methods while working in the Pentagon during George W. Bush’s administration.
