Tegucigalpa, May 1 (RHC)-- The president of Honduras, Xiomara Castro, reiterated on Sunday the denunciation of destabilizing plans against her government by some sectors of the opposition.

"Today they are conspiring to destabilize my government.   Their goal is to separate the government from the people, create confusion, discontent and despair.  There are clear signs of this from those who consider us their subjects or their colony," said President Xiomara Castro in a message to Hondurans on the occasion of International Workers' Day, commemorated this Monday.

The president assured of the existence of a campaign in Social Networks that has been running since she assumed power, on January 27, 2022.

Following the allegations, Xiomara Castro called on all workers in the country to defend and accompany the process of changes promoted by her government from the attacks and plans promoted from the opposition.

"No one will be able to stop this beautiful political project deeply humanist, solidary and democratic. No one is allowed to give up," the President added.
