Bolivia is Second Latin American Country Investing in Education

La Paz, September 12 (PL-RHC)-- The Bolivian Government devotes 14 percent of the State general budget to education, placing it as the second country in Latin America after Cuba with that amount.


According to Vice President Alvaro Garcia Linera, these data place the country as the leader in Latin America and ratify it as the second that devotes more resources to education of children and youths.

The also president of the Multinational Legislative Assembly, quoted by the newspaper Cambio, explained that the objective of these investments is to improve the quality of the education received by Bolivian children and youths, especially improving public education.

He also recalled the Government would make the necessary efforts for all the children and youths to access an education according to current world challenges.
