Havana University Opens Chinese Language Courses

Havana, September 2 (RHC-ACN)-- The Confucius Institute attached to the University of Havana has opened registration for Cuban citizens who want to learn about Chinese language and culture.

Registration will be opened until September 6th, according to a statement issued by the institute.

The Confucius Institute, founded in November 2009 as a result of bilateral cooperation between China and Cuba, promotes and teaches the Chinese Language and the culture of the Asian nation. It also fosters academic exchange between Cub and China.

The institute also promotes educative programs on Chinese economy, alternative medicine, visual arts and other traditional and cultural areas.
