Beijing, November 12 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel made a technical stopover in China after having completed his first international tour in Laos.  Through his Twitter account, the Cuban leader said that China opened its arms again in the Asian farewell.

From China, the Cuban president flew to London on Monday afternoon for another layover on his way back to Havana.

During his official visits to European and Asian countries, beginning on November 1st, Diaz-Canel made a brief stopover in France, then visited Russia, the People's Democratic Republic of Korea, China, Vietnam and Laos.

In Laos, the last stop on his tour, he became the first Cuban head of state to visit that Southeast Asian country, where he met with the nation's highest authorities.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel called his official visits a further demonstration of Cuba's support in the world and rejection of the U.S. blockade.
