Havana, February 14 (RHC)-- Ricardo Antonio Merlo, undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Italian Republic, has arrived in Cuba on an official visit to preside over the V Session of Foreign Ministry Political Consultations between Cuba and Italy.
In his program of activities, he will hold official talks with Cuban authorities, tour Old Havana -- an area declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982 -- and visit the Capitol of Havana, the institutional headquarters of the National Assembly of People's Power.
Likewise, he will participate on Friday at the inauguration in Cuba of the offices of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the Italian Institute for the Promotion of Foreign Trade.
