Havana, February 15 (RHC)-- The Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Italy, Ricardo Antonio Merlo, continues his official visit to Cuba and has met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.
The official headed the Italian delegation to the Fifth Session of Political Consultations Cuba-Italy forum that was held on Thursday and Friday.
The agenda of the Italian dignitary included a tour of the historic center of Old Havana and a visit to the Capitolio, the headquarters of the National Assembly of People's Power.
Ricardo Antonio Merlo was received by the Vice President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, and by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez. They analyzed the bilateral ties between Havana and Rome and the opportunities to increase them.
