Cuban president reiterates call for accountability in battle against COVID-19

Havana, October 12 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reiterated this Monday his call to the citizens to be responsible for the good of all, before the new coronavirus SARS-COV-2 that causes COVID-19.

In his message posted on the social network Twitter, the head of state added a comment published in the newspaper Granma, to the effect that this October 12th, almost the entire country will enter the stage of "new normality," in which one will have to live with this disease without neglecting the hygienic-sanitary measures.

Seven months ago, since the first positive cases were detected in the Caribbean nation last March 11th, the Cuban State and Government implemented a strategy to confront the pandemic that prevented greater evils with respect to other countries in the area of the Americas and the rest of the world.
