Havana, October 13 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel evoked this Tuesday the thoughts of Fidel Castro and his affirmation that the U.S. blockade against Cuba is a genocidal act.

On his Twitter account, the president quoted the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, who more than once denounced that Washington's siege is directed against the Cuban people.

The Cuba leader has repeatedly denounced that the government of President Donald Trump is intensifying the measures intended to suffocate the Cuban economy and cause hardship to the people.
