Cuba reported 1,191 cases of Covid-19 and 12 deaths

Havana, Jun 2 (RHC)-- Cuban health authorities announced  1,191 new cases of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and 12 deaths in the last hours due to complications from the disease.

Thus, the Caribbean nation accumulates 144,514 patients diagnosed with the coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, and 977 fatalities.

Havana, the epicenter of the pandemic on the island, reported 431 autochthonous cases. Santiago de Cuba followed with 160, and Mayabeque with 116 cases.

As of might, 1 million 478 313 citizens had been vaccinated against the disease island-wide.
