Cuban President highlights the importance of political-ideological work

Sancti Spíritus, January 22  (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, highlighted the importance of computerizing society, social communication, and the management of science and innovation as part of the country's political-ideological strategy.

Speaking on Friday at the Communist Party stock-taking conference in Sancti Spíritus,  the President stressed that it is necessary to implement the ideas, concepts, and guidelines from the 8th Party Congress, held in April 2021.

Diaz-Canel also referred to the work with children and young people, the exemplary role of Party members, and developing more attractive work styles that focus on solving problems.

He called for the socialization of experiences related to community projects, attention to new economic actors, work in the neighborhoods, and the improvement of work in the communities, emphasizing the spiritual growth of its inhabitants.

He praised the vaccination scheme in the country and the thought of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz, regarding science, which must be promoted, he said.
