Díaz-Canel meets with Cuban collaborators in Algeria

Havana, November 18 (RHC)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Diaz-Canel met this Friday in Algiers, with a representation of Cuban collaborators working in Algeria and with the staff of the embassy of the Antillean nation in that country.

During the exchange, the president recounted the favorable decisions adopted so far, as well as the situation in Cuba, the Presidency reported in a tweet.

On Friday, as part of the activities of his second day in the North African country, the head of state, along with the delegation accompanying him, toured the Great Mosque of Algiers, considered the third largest in the world.

"We were received with the same affection we have felt since we arrived in this sister nation, it was an honor to be in that sacred place," Diaz-Canel said in a message.
