Cuba sent Condolences to Chile for deaths caused by forest fires

Havana, Dec 23 (RHC) Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, head of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, today sent condolences to the people and government of Chile due to the loss of human lives and damages caused as a result of the forest fire in Viña del Mar, Valparaíso.

 

Through his Twitter account, the Cuban Foreign Minister extended his condolences to the families and relatives of the victims of the incident.

 

 In the upper area of Viña del Mar, 120 kilometers from Santiago de Chile, a fire has been registered, causing the death of at least 2 people, as well as 500 homes affected. 

 

Due to the magnitude of the fires, Chilean President Gabriel Boric decreed a state of emergency (Source: ACN).
