Cuba sends condolences after landslide in Chocó, Colombia

Havana, Jan 14 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez expressed Cuba's condolences to the people and government of Colombia on Saturday for the loss of human lives and material damage caused by the landslide in the Chocó region.

In a message on his profile on the social network X, the foreign minister extended his condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.

The death toll has risen to more than 30, most of them children, as a result of the landslides on the road that connects Medellín with Chocó.

The landslide occurred at a time when at least 50 people were sheltering in a house because of the rains (Sources: @BrunoRguezP and TeleSur).
