Cienfuegos, January 7 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel analyzed the potential of Cienfuegos province to make viable options that contribute to the improvement of the quality of life in economic and social terms during 2023.

The head of state was accompanied by Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC.

The head of state reflected on the powers given to the socialist enterprise that are still not being used and called for diversifying its production and services.

Cienfuegos authorities pointed out that there are insufficiencies in sugar cane sowing, the completion of livestock modules, as well as dissatisfaction in water, funeral and gastronomic services.

For his part, Morales reflected on how much can be done "with our own effort, organization and creativity to reverse the economic situation of the country".

Marrero Cruz insisted on the importance of the Government "so that the decisions are those expected by the people."

The meetings headed by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic started this Thursday by Ciego de Avila and Sancti Spíritus, on Friday morning in Villa Clara and Cienfuegos.
