Prime Minister of Cuba arrived in Belarus on an official visit

 

Havana, Nov 9 (RHC) The Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, arrived this Thursday in Minsk, capital of Belarus, on his first official visit since taking office.

The head of government and the accompanying delegation were received by the head of transport Aleksei Liahnovich and the vice chancellor, Evgeny Shestakov.

On the second day of the visit, he will hold meetings with President Aleksandr Lukashenko and his counterpart Román Golovshenko. The two heads of Government will hold official talks in an expanded composition, where they will analyze the progress of the excellent relations between their countries in the political, economic and commercial fields.

Marrero also plans exchanges with Belarusian leaders such as Natalia Kochanova, president of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, and Vladimir Andreichenko, president of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly.

He will also meet in Minsk with members of the movement of friendship and solidarity with Cuba and with a representation of Cubans residing there.

The Cuban prime minister’s agenda also includes visits to the MTZ Tractor Factory, the Derzynskii Agrocombinado, the Akademfarm medicine company and the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. (Source: Prensa Latina)
