Cuban president pays working visit to the western province of Mayabeque

Havana, January 13 (Web Network)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC-PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel made a working visit this Friday to important sites in the western province of Mayabeque.

The president was accompanied by the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the CC-PCC, Roberto Morales Ojeda, and leaders of the Party and the Government in that territory, which recently celebrated its 13th anniversary.

The Presidency of Cuba in its X profile reports that Díaz-Canel arrived at Finca Luisa, located in the 'Vigía Roja' community, where 50 hectares are used to grow papa, beans and hybrid corn, the latter in collaboration with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In the 'El Cangre' community, in the municipality of Güines, the visitors had an exchange with its inhabitants.

They talked about local history, the situation of the country, and the head of state reiterated that the recently announced measures are for the benefit of all, to reorganize the economy.

In another moment of the tour of Mayabeque, Díaz-Canel arrived at the "Félix Varela y Morales" Vocational Pre-University Institute, a center that opens its new headquarters in the municipality of San José de las Lajas, the provincial capital.

With the naturalness that characterizes young people, the students chatted with the Cuban president and his companions, reports @PresidenciaCuba.
