Havana, Janueary 26 (RHC) -- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today visited the eastern provinces of Holguín and La Tunas, as part of the tours being carried out by the country's leadership to discuss work priorities for 2024.

Through his profile on the social network X, the Cuban president announced his program for this Friday, and thanked the affection with which he was received the day before in the municipalities of Maisí, in Guantánamo, and Río Cauto, in Granma.

Cuba rises every day above the difficulties and creates. We lived it in Maisí and Río Cauto, land of #GenteQueSuma, hardworking and enthusiastic, Díaz-Canel wrote in his message.

Accompanied by the Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee, Roberto Morales, and local authorities, the head of state visited several productive and service centers, evaluated the progress of local development projects and talked with the people of Guantanamo and Granmenses.

The point is that here we work, and when we work, we will always go above the problems, above the blockade. And this is what we saw again today here, in Maisí and in Río Cauto, said Díaz-Canel to the population.
