Cuba and the European Union discuss their relationship and the advancement of collaboration
Havana, June 4 (RHC) Cuba and the European Union will convene their fourth joint committee in Brussels today, where they will review the implementation of the Political Agreement on Dialogue and Cooperation, which was signed in 2016.
The meeting will continue the process of bringing both parties closer together, building on the framework established by the previous Joint Committee in December 2022.
It is expected that the exchange of ideas will enable the exploration of potential collaborations within the framework of the EU Global Gateway initiative, in areas such as agriculture, climate change mitigation, renewable energy, cultural endeavors, and others.
The European Union is a significant trading partner for Cuba and a key foreign investor, particularly in sectors such as tourism, construction, and manufacturing. (Source: Prensa Latina)
