Mexico City, February 26 (RHC)-- The book 'Fidel en el imaginario mexicano,' was presented in Mexico by the author, Cuban journalist Katiuska Blanco.

The book compiles the testimony of 30 Mexican citizens, who have  links with Fidel Castro --the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.

In the text, the author emphasizes different aspects of Fidel's character, featuring him as a strong man, a fighter who made lots of friends in Mexico.

The book launching took place at the Casona de Xicoténcatl, which once housed the Mexican Senate. On hand were Mexican legislators, politicians, representatives of social movements, members of diplomatic corps accredited there and representatives of solidarity with Cuba groups.
