Bogotá, August 4 (RHC)-- Colombia's Migration Director Christian Krüger announced plans to repatriate a group of undocumented Cubans back to Cuba or to Ecuador if they don't leave Colombia voluntarily.

Krüger said the Cubans have been stranded for several days at the port of Turbo, in the Department of Antioquia, from where they planned to continue on their northward journey and reach U.S. territory, encouraged by Washington's arbitrary migration policy towards the Caribbean state.

Colombian authorities are reportedly awaiting a court order to expel the nearly 2,000 undocumented Cubans from their territory. They said that at least 84 of them decided to leave the country voluntarily, after Colombian authorities refused to transfer them to Mexico, as they had requested.
