Former MLB player will return to Latinoamericano Stadium

Havana, September 7 (RHC) – The return of former MLB player Erisbel Arruebarruena to the Latinoamericano Stadium in Havana will be one of the most head-turning events today in the Cuban Baseball Series.

Arruebarruena, who in the past played as shortstop for the team of his native province, the Cienfuegos Elephants, now leads the roster of the Matanzas Crocodiles, set to face the Industriales this weekend. 

Arruebarruena is known for a being a pridogy at the position of shortstop and for his extremely powerful throwing arm.  He had a short visit to ``The Show´´ as a player of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2014.

The 29-year old infielder made his return to the domestic Baseball Championship, and after completing the reinsertion process to the Cuban competitive system, he can now be picked by the Cuban National team.
