Havana, No Cuba added three bronze medals during the second day of the Boxing World Cup in Cologne, Germany.

Havana, November 4 (JIT)-- Cuba added three bronze medals during the second day of the Boxing World Cup in Cologne, Germany.

The winners were triple world champion Lazaro Alvarez (63.5 kg), Freddy Perez (92 kg) and Saidel Horta (57 kg).

The winners joined a list of medalists who reached the podium on Wednesday: Yoenlis Hernández (75 kg), world champion, and Rafael Joubert (60 kg).

The day was marked by the no-show of two-time Olympic champion Roniel Iglesias (71 kg), who is undergoing treatment after an injury suffered in his previous outing.

Alejandro Claro (51 kg) lost 0-3 to the experienced German Salah Ibrahim. Albert Gonzalez (82 kg) and Carlos Castillo (+92 kg) left the delegation.

On Friday, the finalists will be defined and will be called to fight for the belts tomorrow, Saturday.
