Havana, July 24 (RHC) - Hulk Hogan, the legendary and controversial 12-time professional wrestling champion of the 1980s, died today at the age of 71 at his home in Clearwater, Florida, in the southern United States.

Standing nearly two meters tall and weighing 130 kilos, the former wrestler and actor, whose real name was Terrence Gene Bollea, recently underwent several surgeries, according to local media reports.

In 2005, he was inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame, from which he was removed a decade later due to racist comments, but he was reinstated in 2020.
