Caracas, January 20 (RHC-AVN) --- President Nicolas Maduro has reaffirmed his invitation to Venezuelans to create a social program to pacify the country.

Writing on his Twitter account, President Maduro emphasized the importance of overcoming "anti-values that generate criminal violence."

Noting the importance of a national dialog that includes the participation of all Venezuelan sectors alike, Maduro called on his supporters and opponents to "stop quarreling about the issue and join all efforts to reach the longed-for social peace and respect for life."

In rendering account to parliament of his administration during the past year, the Venezuelan President said last week that "a crucial task of every Nation is social pacification to build new bases that foster coexistence and peace."

The Venezuelan head of state also called on owners of media outlets to join the cause for social equality and justice and to take the issue of citizen security from their political war.
