President Nicolás Maduro Says New Economic Order Will Lead Venezuela's Social Development

Caracas, January 23 (RHC-AVN) -- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said Wednesday that the new economic order sought by the National Government will strengthen investment in the country's social and economic development.

President Maduro wrote on his Twitter account that his gtovernment is working hard towards guaranteeing much needed foreign currency "for the running of the economy” and stressed that they will increase efficiency in the management of those resources."

President Maduro also emphasized that during 2014 his government will win the economic war unleashed last year by right-wing sectors against the Venezuelan people.

The Venezuelan president said: "2014 will be a year to defeat the economic campaign permanently and structurally. It will be a year of growth and expansion for productive forces."

Similarly, Maduro congratulated vice-president of the economic area Rafael Ramirez, who gave a press conference with information on foreign exchange rates and plans to import goods.
