Washington, December 6 (RHC)-- The Pentagon is considering sending thousands more troops to the Middle East to counter Iran.

The Wall Street Journal reports up to 14,000 more U.S. troops could be deployed.  The potential deployment comes as the United States claims Iran has transferred short-range missiles into Iraq.

In other news from the Middle East, Saudi Arabia has taken the world’s most profitable company public.  The state-owned oil giant Saudi Aramco raised a record $25.6 billion in its initial public offering.  When trading begins, the company will be valued at $1.7 trillion, making it the most valuable listed company in the world.
