Lima, July 5 (RHC)-- The presidential candidate for the organization Peru Libre, Pedro Castillo, has repudiated the accusations of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Junin about alleged money that entered the campaign by the illicit organization Los Dinámicos del Centro.

Castillo emphasized that he submits himself to any investigation to deny the accusations, "out of respect for the people I will come clean and I submit myself to any investigation (...) We cannot be subjecting ourselves to criminal acts and corruption, I reject it outright," he added.

The candidate of Perú Libre thanked the social organizations for expressing their solidarity in the face of the accusations.  "I want to thank the people who have committed themselves.  I am not going to say any name, I will say it in due time.  It is not only about a Cabinet, it is about a work team", he added.

Castillo's pronouncement comes after prosecutor Bonnie Bautista indicated that money from the organization Los Dinámicos del Centro would have entered the campaign of Perú Libre for the Presidency.

Although Bautista did not give details of the accusation, she asked for at least 36 months of preventive imprisonment against 20 alleged members of the organization.  "The objective was to finance the political campaign of the political party (alluding to Peru Libre) on duty in this 2019-2022 administration, which as we all know, has run for the Presidency and congressional elections," Bautista pointed out.
