Port-au-Prince, May 21 (RHC-teleSUR) -- Haiti’s interim president Joclerme Privert said the country should be prepared for another round of presidential elections, but should be patient.

Electoral authorities in the country have missed four election deadlines, and it was scheduled that Privert would handover power on May 14 after a government deal to handle the political crisis.

Haiti has endured months of sometimes violent protests after the election stand-off in January that led to the instalment of an interim government. The electoral body is looking into the allegations of fraud during the October elections.
