Havana, Jun 16 (RHC)-- Cuba and Mexico will hold this Thursday the 14th Round of Migratory Talks virtually, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this Caribbean nation (MINREX) announced.

The Ministry said that the meeting will be co-chaired by Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Gerardo Peñalver and Mexican Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Maximiliano Reyes.

He also pointed out that both delegations will analyze the behavior of the migratory flow between the two countries and the illegal phenomena associated with it and exchange points of view on their respective migratory policies.

The parties will also take stock of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed bilaterally to guarantee a regular, orderly, and safe migratory flow between the two countries.

With the celebration of this meeting, Cuba and Mexico ratify their commitment to continue working together to strengthen cooperation in the migratory and consular field and make the fight against irregular migration more effective, said MINREX.
