London, October 7 (RHC) --The Cuba Solidarity Campaign (CSC) in the United Kingdom paid tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack against a Cuban airliner off the coast of Barbados in 1976.

On the 45th anniversary of the mid-air bombing of a Cubana de Aviación aircraft,  we remember and pay tribute to the 73 victims, said on Twitter the organization that brings together thousands of British solidarity with the Caribbean island.

After recalling that the intellectual authors of the crime, Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosh, lived and died peacefully in Miami and were never brought to justice in the United States, the CSC highlighted the remarks of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, at the farewell of the mourning.

'We cannot say that pain is shared. Pain is multiplied. Millions of Cubans weep today with the loved ones of the victims of the abominable crime. And when an energetic and virile people weep, injustice trembles,' said the then Cuban prime minister.

After the attack, Cuba dedicated October 6 to commemorate the Day of the Victims of State Terrorism, in honor of the more than 3,400 people who have died due to U.S. aggression against the Caribbean nation.
