Havana, July 22 (RHC)-- The National Assembly of People's Power resumed Friday the 9th ordinary session of its 9th legislature.

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, participates in the last session, which President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez also attends.

The General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Cuba will render accounts on this day. Deputies will also hear the report on the work of the government of the province of Granma and the results of the Ministry of Energy and Mines audit.

Likewise, the parliamentarians will discuss the 25th version of the Family Code bill, which, if approved, will be submitted to a popular referendum in September this year.

This Thursday, the National Assembly of People's Power analyzed the results of the country's economy during the first half of 2022, as well as the execution of the budget in 2021, which ratifies its strong social vocation, among other issues.
