From Lebanon, Palestinian friends reaffirm solidarity with Cuba

Representatives of the Palestine-Cuba Friendship Association and the Graduates League

 

Lebanon, Oct 10 (RHC) Representatives of the Palestine-Cuba Friendship Association and the Graduates League reaffirmed this Sunday in Lebanon, their support for the Antillean Island in the face of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade of the United States.

 

In an exchange with the head of the Cuban mission in this capital, Jorge León; the president of the Association, Salah Salah, and the head of the League, Ali El Khatib, ratified the accompaniment of the Caribbean people in the struggle to demand the end of the North American policy, imposed for more than six decades.

 

During the meeting, Salah expressed Palestinian solidarity in the face of the damage caused by Hurricane Ian, at the end of September, and wished for a speedy restoration of the material damage.

 

The leader offered information of interest on the internal work and the regional and international situation of the Palestinian cause in its resistance against the Israeli occupation.

 

For his part, the diplomat León reiterated the Cuban support and solidarity for the struggle of the Palestinian people for an independent and sovereign State.

 

León updated on the Cuban reality and thanked the traditional manifestations of the fellowship of the Friendship Association and the League of Palestinian Graduates with the island.
