Cuba and Uruguay to hold III Round of Talks on Migratory Issues

Havana, Oct 27 (RHC) The Third Round of Talks on Migratory Issues between the Republic of Cuba and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay will take place tomorrow, Friday, in Montevideo, the capital of that South American nation.

 

The Cuban Foreign Ministry's website reported that during the meeting both delegations will evaluate the implementation of joint actions to discourage illegal acts associated with irregular migration and ensure a safe, regular and orderly migratory flow.

 

The Cuban delegation will be headed by Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, general director of Consular Affairs and Attention to Cubans Living Abroad.

 

The Uruguayan side will be headed by Cecilia Otegui, deputy director general of Consular Affairs and Liaison of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Source: ACN)
