Partisan leaders from Cuba and Vietnam hold a dialogue

 

Havana, Aug 22 (RHC) The head of the Ideological Department of the Cuban Communist Party, Rogelio Polanco, received in Havana this Tuesday the member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Trong Nghia.

Both party leaders signed the Cooperation Agreement between the Cuban Communist Party’s Ideological Department and the Commission for Propaganda and Education of the Vietnamese party organization. This agreement aims at promoting brotherhood relations between both parties, the result of the great friendship between the historical leaders Fidel Castro and Ho Chi Minh.

In turn, the instrument has as an essential element the implementation of the Exchange and Cooperation Agreement, signed between the two organizations on May 4 of this year.

After the signing, the Cuban partisan leader ratified that Cuba and Vietnam have a common fighting front aimed at developing socialist construction, facing the ideological battle for national identity and advancing in the preparation of officials.

For his part, the head of the Vietnamese delegation expressed his interest in developing cooperation programs in the ideological field that allow the training and preparation of cadres, as well as increasing relations of solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cuba. (Source: PL)
