Cuban Communist Party and European Politicians forge closer ties

Havana, Jan 27 (RHC) Leaders of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), and the Party of the European Left (PIE) expressed satisfaction Thursday in Havana for the development of relations between their political organizations.

 

During a meeting in the Cuban capital, the Secretary of the Organization of the PCC, Roberto Morales, and the Secretary General of the PIE, Maite Mola, highlighted the party ties and discussed issues on the international agenda, especially the situation in Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

Mola reiterated the rejection "of the criminal blockade policy of the United States against Cuba and ratified its commitment to this historic and rebellious island.

 

The PIE delegation is in Cuba to participate in the V International Conference for the Balance of the World, which began on Tuesday 24 and will be held until the 28th (Source: Prensa Latina).
