Havana, December 5 (RHC)-- The First Junior Pan American Games Cali-Valle 2021 will end today with the discussion of 21 titles in seven disciplines and the almost undisputed leadership of Brazil in the overall medal table.

Meanwhile, in karate, the women's over 68, 50 and 55 kilograms and the men's over 84, 60 and 67 kilograms will be decided.

Fencing will crown its champions in individual saber for women and men; table tennis will reach the team definitions in both sexes, and modern pentathlon will also proclaim its monarch.

There will be a battle for the title in women's volleyball, between Brazil and Peru, and in 3×3 basketball, where medals will also be shared in triples (shoot out).

A few hours before the end of this first edition of the Junior Pan American Games, Brazil leads the general medal table with 53 gold, 43 silver and 54 bronze medals, for a grand total of 150 metals in their coffers.

The second to fifth places in the ranking are occupied by Colombia (47-33-60), Mexico (42-72-44), Mexico (44-72-44), the United States (43-28-34) and Cuba (29-12-21), in the same order.
